| hang tight for responses....there are great breeder/owners on here that will give you solid advice on your young pup. I got my ZoE at six weeks & following their advice she has flourished & is now a healthy, active 9 week old.

I agree with Chachi - keep feeding him often. He's so young and little that he probably won't be eating much for a while, but he does need to eat often. You said he is lively? So he plays and has lots of energy? That's very, very good. Just don't let him play for too long at a time. He need lots of sleep at his age and he can get overtired fast.

| I got my first yorkie at 6 weeks. (Very irresponsible breeder, and a very novice yorkie owner.) I made sure she ate every few hours. I had nutri cal on hand (from the vet) I gave her that two times a day. I made sure she was warm and well rested and well fed. I limited her exposure to other dogs and didn't take her out until she was up to date on vaccines. The only issue we had with Bella was Coccidia, which cleared right up with antibiodics, at I believe it was 12-14 weeks. She is now a very healthy and very happy 11 month old girl!! It can be done, take vigilance and a lot of patience!! Congrats on your new baby!!
