I have to say that I am typing with tears in my eyes. I am so saddened about London and for her owner. I would like everyone to think about the first time they ever owned a Yorkie and how inexperienced you were and how much you have learned since. Brandy is my first. I have always had shelter dogs who were outside pets. Due to my kids being grown, living in a condo and wanting an inside dog, and having allergies, I decided on a Yorkie. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate. I knew nothing about the breed and I got her from an ad in my local newspaper. She came, not from a breeder, but just a family that wanted to experience puppies. How lucky I am to have since found this website. I have learned so much and next time would do things so differently. I am just asking everyone to have a little understanding and compassion. Just because someone didn't know, doesn't make them irresponsibe. This poor baby would have gone to someone else and I imagine the outcome would not have been any different. If London's owner now were to do things the same, I would call her irresponsible. I had no idea the love I could have for an animal until I got Brandy. I can't even begin to imagine how I will feel when the time comes that she passes away. |

I look online and see post about a breeder I have bought my puppies from. I have every right to be on here just like everyone else. I have stayed close to the breeder contacting her and sending photos of my puppies off and on now for 2 years. I will comment on someone saying negative remarks about someone I have two healthy puppies from. I will contact the breeder and let her know what is being posted on the site. It seems like from post above she has no clue that one of her puppies has passed away and negative comments are being posted. I hate to hear anyone lost a yorkie or any breed puppy but we do not see all sides of a story we are only hearing what one person has posted and no clue who they are or what really happened. But I know first hand I did NOT get my puppies too soon or too little. They are just like my children and couldnt imagine life with out them. I truly feel for wicked and hope one day she is able to get another yorkie baby. Yorkies are a gift from god. |
