vomiting after meds I was wondering how fast Sentinel (heartworm preventive) is absorbed. Calvin had his (with dinner) at 6:30pm, and just vomited at 11:30pm. It didn't look like he threw up his dinner, it was mostly liquid (he drank alot of water after playtime tonight), and maybe some treats that were in his kong. I wasn't sure if I need to re-dose him, or if he's covered

I definitely would not re-dose him, as it could be a reaction. I would keep my eyes on him for the night and the next day to make sure you do not see any other signs of reaction. If he does vomit again, or show any signs of Anaphalaxis, I would get him straight to the vet. Please keep us posted....

Thank you! He has been fine through the night, and ate his breakfast this morning. I'll keep an eye on him.

That's great that he did well last night. Thank goodness Maybe it was just s coincidence of timing with the vomiting and the meds. Please keep us updated as to how he is doing, poor little guy. I would let the vet know what happened just to keep him updated, in case it happens again after application.
