| Lipomas (fatty, benign tumors) - how much does your pup's move? Ellie has one and her vet said she has never felt one that moves this much. It is the coolest thing (ok, I know, I'm weird). It moves about an inch from its "home" and then springs back. Anybody have a pup who has one that does this?

My beagle was thought to have one of those on the edge of her back foot about 18 months ago, my vet said that we could leave it alone for awhile and "watch" it. When she went in at the end of feb. last year it had gotten a little bigger so we decided to have it removed. It turned out to be cancerous, so please watch your pups closly. Thank heavens s she is fine now, but it was pretty scary. We were also told that it can return so weve been keeping a close on her.

| My 15 yr. old schnauzer boy has 3 of them near his chest & ribs. The largest one is near a nipple, about the size of a small grape, and can be moved by hand almost an inch.
