| KB has an itchy chin.... Krissie Bella has been doing this for over a year, but more frequently. She scratches the tip of her chin, violently! it is so sad. She has a rash there, consistently. She does not have fleas. I use revolution on her monthly, she gets a bath weekly. I hate to see her so miserable! Could Ot be yeast? I will probably take her to the vet, but I was wondering if my YT friends may have some insight. Thank you in advance! xx

| Does it have a smell to it? I read somewhere maybe changing the food or water bowl to stainless. Has your vet done a scraping for Mange? Acne? There are other diseases that they can contract from humans. I hope you get your baby checked out so she isn't so miserable. |

| Do you use plastic food dishes? They hold bacteria in scratches in the surface which can cause contact dermatitis on the chin (like acne). Krisse Bella could also be allergic to the plastic itself. Try switching to stainless or ceramic dishes and see if that helps. |

| Her chin is consistently a challenge for us. Her only itchy spot. She is in full coat. I have never fed her out of anything but Stainless. Before I ever got her, I did my research. She is totally the heartbeat at my feet. If I am home, she never leaves my side, except for food and water. I free feed her. I feed her a very high grade of dog food that she loves, called "Life's Abundance". Before that she was on EVO, another high grade food. I would question the food, but she has had this rash for a good year and a half. I do notice that it is worse when she gets in the grass. She totally could have allergies. It may just be a dermititis. She has an appointment to see her doctor. Maybe we can get to the bottom of this. Thank you for all of your responses. You are very kind. One thing - her chin does not have an odor, but is constantly wet from drinking water. She has a long beard that holds it. That's why "Yeast" was a big ?? for me.... Hmmmm.....
