| From Orijen to Taste of the Wild, puppy poop more frequent? My yorkie eat Orijen puppy and since i afraid the high protein issue so i switched to Taste of the wild sierra mountain formula (25% protein), he's on TOTW for a month already,i noticed he poop from 2 times daily to AT LEAST 5-6 times daily..whats wrong? The stools are much bigger but its firm..I know they are both top quality, grain-free product. But anyone knows the reason? I fed him the right amount. Should i continue to use it?? Should i switch to Wellness super 5 mix just for puppy? it isnt grain-free but my puppy doesnt have food allergy Last edited by kayi078; 01-21-2011 at 02:25 PM. |

| The increased frequency of pooping is probably the diet change. I agree that both Orijen and TOTW are good food choices, but there is a significant difference between the two. Your pup's system may take several months to adjust to the lower protein. You may have better results with another food.
