| Food Allergies So my poor pup has been having stomach issues for almost a year now. Sometimes he vomits or has runny stool and sometimes you can just hear his tummy being upset. Also he was licking his paw (just one) and being burpy and lip licky. I did all sorts of tests and tried diffrent medicine but nothing worked. I finally broke down and got him tested for food allergies (it's a bit pricey). I was shocked by the results! Chibi is allergic to: Beef, beets, corn, cow's milk, oats, peanuts, green peas, salmon and shellfish. I just got these results and switched him to gain-free food and already I can tell the diffrence. I guess food allergies can be common in Yorkies so I just wanted to pass this info along, if your dog is having any tummy issues it could be the food! At least now I know and I can keep him away from those foods, I am glad I did the test, it was well worth it. |

| Oh boy. I've been down this road with testing for food allergies and you are right, it sure is pricey. Unfortunately, though, it is unreliable and a complete waste of money. ETA: my comments apply to blood testing for food allergies
