I hope those of you who are using unpasteurized ACV understand the health risks. ACV has been touted as a miracle ingredient for years curing everything form bladder infections to dandruff. Vinegar is acidic and it changes the pH, and it can help with certain issues, however I would be careful in using it, increasing the acidity isn't always beneficial. It used to be believed that bacteria couldn’t thrive in acidic environments, but this was found to be wrong and unpasteurized means that no heat treatment has been used to kill the bacteria so unpasteurized apple cider vinegar carries a risk of being contaminatedwith harmful bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella. Mandie used to have bad eye goobers when she was little. I think it was from teething. Either that or it took a while for the grain free food to kick in. She hasn't really had an issue in the past few months, though. Just regular stuff that I get with the mustache comb, but not the big ones like before. |
