| We picked him up around 4PM, and the vet showed us the tooth he extracted. It was infected under the gum line, and two of the three roots were decayed. It really needed to come out. Snickers didn't seem to have any ill-effects from the anesthesia. He was hungry but I fed him only a very light meal. I think he feels better now that the tooth is out. I'm so relieved it's over! Thank you all again for your support and concern. You guys are the best.
