| i own a 7 week old yorkipoo named pedro. he is the sweetest thing in the world. i noticed when i first got him that he had a blood vessel or something on his right eye. i brought it up to my boyfriend, and he said that it was probably no big deal. pedro even went to the vet a week and a half ago, and she found nothing, although i didn't tell her about his eye, i had actually forgotten about it. anyway, today i went to petland and left my boyfriend in charge, when i got back he said that pedro had pooped on the puppy pad, and then was playing with one of his cats. he then noticed some blood on his bed, and looked at pedro's eye and saw that it was bleeding. he cleaned him up and the bleeding had stopped. pedro seemed fine, he didn't even yelp or anything which makes me think it wasn't the cat. now, the top white portion of his eye is still really red, it might have gone down a little bit. he acts completely fine, he plays and eats and everything. he might have slept a little bit more today but that's it. has anybody ever had a problem with this. i'm probably going to call my vet tomorrow just to be on the safe side. |

| if it is like a human's eye with a bursted blood vessel most of the time it is caused by too much rubbing.like if you are tired. maybe he has rubbed it too much because of something in there like his hair. buckeye has an eye problem sometimes due to his short hairs getting in there. i have to keep it clean and up and out of the way. sometime use gel or hair spray to keep it up and away from his eyes. don't know if this will help you or not. let us know what the vet says
