if it is like a human's eye with a bursted blood vessel most of the time it is caused by too much rubbing.like if you are tired. maybe he has rubbed it too much because of something in there like his hair. buckeye has an eye problem sometimes due to his short hairs getting in there. i have to keep it clean and up and out of the way. sometime use gel or hair spray to keep it up and away from his eyes. don't know if this will help you or not. let us know what the vet says
