My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I don't care for those Yorkie charts. My babies never follow them. They are out there just for a guideline. Its all genetics. What size were mom and dad, their moms and dads, and their moms and dads...and so on..... Its very hard to predict a puppys weight. All babies also grow at different rates. I bet your baby is a doll |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | She's probably not overweight....she's just a bigger puppy. Rule of thumb is ti triple her 8 week weight or double her 12.

| I've heard the same as "Bchgirl" Your baby will probably be 9 lbs or so. My boy is 8 lbs, but you'd think he was 6 or so. Your baby will be all the more sturdy at that weight

| I brought Max home at 11 weeks and he was 3.9 pounds. He's now 7 months and about 11 pounds. He's long, tall and lean and looks like he's still growing!! A little bigger is just more to love.

| Jackson was 5lbs at 9 weeks old and he is now 15bs at 2 years old! He's my big boy He followed the "double the 12 week weight" rule pretty well. He was 6lbs at 12 weeks old and it doubled to 12lbs by the time he was 7 months old and he maintained that until he gained some more muscle and weight (not he's not overweight) at 1 1/2 years old.
