| This thread is quite amusing. Haven't seen Dinky's lipstick since he was neutered about 6 weeks ago. And again, what the heck is a bully stick? |

I'm not sure, but I think bully sticks are made from the privates of a bull. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

| Ok this thread def is amusing... can't really comment on the boy stuff, Harley must have been really private, cause i've never seen anything... lol I'm also getting a kick out of the bully stick comments, I've never used one, so I'll hold out and let someone else explain that one... plus I must admit I get a kick out of watching the posts of those who don't know

| A bully stick is actually made out of the tendon of a steer's penis...It's all protein, and completely digestible...IOW, they can't cause intestinal blockage, etc., like rawhide...they're expensive, but great for the pups to chew on, as they help keep tarter down...If you buy bully sticks, that aren't from steers (neutered bulls), they are even more expensive... |

| I found this out later too. Kaji even got fresh with Missy once, and they're both fixed! It started with play fighting and ended with Kaji on top of Missy. We immediately stopped them.

| I also wanted to add, I've also seen Kaji "court" a little female in heat at the dog park. (yeah... genius owner took his intact female to a dog park while she was in heat ) That was last year, Kaji was already neutered, but I'm slow so it took me a while to figure out what he was doing. He kept all the other boy dogs away from her. When I figured out what was going on, I picked Kaji up and went home.

| Boomer is such a well mannered little boy. He keeps his in and has rarely ever tried to mount Muffin. Muffin on the other hand...is my little stinker. She'll try with Boomer, but I think she's just being dominant. Bully sticks are great. They're about $5 around here. I like giving my two the "MOO" ones best as those don't stink.

| okay one more bad question. is it possible for a male dog to have what they call in human terms a noctural emission? i only ask because we have suede comforter that mysterious little white stains keep coming up everywhere. it could be they are licking the bed and the saliva drying, but i have to ask this question just in case i need to wash my bedding more often |

| male dogs Wish I could help with this question but I only have Belle. Our male Lab didn't sleep on the bed, thank goodness. Also, about bully sticks, they are excellent for your furbabies. They love them and carry them all over. Belle always has 2 going at a time and has to "kill" them before chewing them. She also loves to throw them around, we have to watch for flying bullies when watching tv. There are a couple people here on YT that sell them and they are really good ones. I usually buy 6 or 12 of the 12 inch and have them cut in half. They last quite a while and they don't swell in the bellies like rawhide can. I did ask my husband about the male dogs and bedding, all he did was look at me like I had finally gone over the edge. This was after he caught me smelling Belle's feet to see about Fritos feet! He's beginning to think that yters aren't normal people.. |
