| ![]() The C.E.T chews are made of chlorhexidine. My vet recommends them too and they love them. However, my friend's pup throws up when he eats them so she can't use them. Winston eats them too quick to help his teeth, I'm sure of it. I'd rather look into the Himalayan chews, what are those made of? Here's the definition from Wikipedia - Chlorhexidine is a chemical antiseptic.[1] It is effective on both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, although it is less effective with some Gram-negative bacteria.[2] It is often used as an active ingredient in mouthwash designed to reduce dental plaque and oral bacteria. Although I give them occasionally, not sure how I feel about the chemicals??

| ![]() When people get Chlorhexidine - we get in usually in mouthwash form and don't swallow it. Thats the only thing that concerns me.
