| Adding NutriCal to the food is pretty much the same as putting sugar on his food. What this does is spike the blood glucose (sugar) and really is not ideal. Have you tried Coconut Oil? Mine love it, it's good for them and is not full of unneeded sugar. I melt a little in the bottom of their bowl and then mix the kibble to coat it. It should be Virgin Cold Presses Coconut Oil and I buy it at the grocery store in the baking aisle.

| We had the same issue with Bear. I did a lot of research and found all kinds of high quality , holistic dog food that we would eat it it for a day or two and then stopped. We tried raw too, did not like it. One day I just took all 10 bags of food to animal shelter and started home cooking for him. He loves chicken, beef, carrots, green beans, sweet potato, pasta ( sometimes), paprika, cottage cheese . .. never have any problems with him eating again. We give him daily multivitamin, and so far he is doing great! |
