| Petzlife Gel?? I purchased some of this today, and was wondering what kind of results you all have had? Roxie goes for her dental next week, but I want to be prepared to keep them looking good. I purchased it from Petsmart today, and just want to know the best way to administer it, etc? Do I just rub it on the teeth? Thanks. |

| This is a fantastic product (in my opinion). It has helped remove and has kept off tartar on all my dogs teeth. I use a toothbrush and brush it on mine, however, you can simply spread it on their teeth with your finger. Whichever your dog will adapt to. No eating/drinking for 30 mins. before and 30 mins. after administering it. I believe the direction on the bottle are something like every day for 1 week and then 2-3 days a week after that. Double check. As long as you get it in their mouths the normal licking action of their tongue will spread it around.

| We use it, too, and like it. It does contain alcohol - that you should know. Probably want a flavor like mint, too.

Yes it does! And it's grain alcohol too, if I remember correctly!

| I use it on Tatiana, too. It's a good product. As for the application, I use my finger and finger brush. Tatiana would only accept my finger near her mouth. I tried using a toothbrush, and she would twist her head, and put up a struggle. She would accept my finger, though (which I find endearing ). |

| I use Petzlife and like it alot. It really helps to soften the plaque, and combine with brushing keeps teeth very clean. I do a combination of spray and gel. You only use a tiny bit of the gel at a time so the alchohol isn't a worry IMO |

| I originally had the spray for Jackson and it worked but he HATED it. Something about the action of spraying into his mouth... you'd think I was killing him. Soooo after a few failed attempts, I sold it and bought the gel. Sooo much easier, IMO! He doesn't "like" it but he allows me to put a little bit on his teeth with my fingers without a big fight. I love it! His teeth are perfect at 2 years old except for a little tarter on the upper canine teeth but I also don't brush regularly like I should! I'm trying to get into better habits.

| I've used it routinely on all of my girls with very good results. I put it on at bedtime with my finger but also brush their teeth with a toothpaste in-between. They don't really mind the taste too much. |

| Thanks everyone for all the suggestions and help! I haven't used it yet, but I have a dental procedure thats being done today, so no work the rest of today or tomorrow..yay..anyways, I am going to put some of the gel on her teeth when I get home, so I can be there and make sure there are no adverse affects. Thanks again! |
