Baby teeth

I have looked at your past threads and noticed you asked if there was a site similar to YT but for british bulldogs?
Do you have a bulldog? I have noticed you call your breeding a "business".
Are you planning to start breeding bulldogs? I really hope not.
My BFs family have bred bulldogs for years and they nearly ALWAYS need C-sections and lots of vet checks.
Just thought I would let you know that incase that was your plan.

Do you mean that he lost his adult teeth after you had his baby teeth extracted? Not sure of what you meant. But like my vet had said that at 8 months - they should definitely have their adult teeth in and if there are still baby teeth in at that time - then you should have them extracted because they most likely will not fall out on their own. My vet was great because he only charged my one price on whether he was extracting one tooth or a hundred.

So what if it was closed? Now comes the OP discussing two new dogs that she's brought into that environment that she admits she has no intention of having s/n. So I would suspect, that it's possible they are going to be throw into the breeding mix. Do you honestly expect people to act like that whole situation didn't exist and bite their tounges just because the thread was closed? Not likely.

Sometimes I think that when people find themselves to be the center of controversy, they lay low for a while in the hopes that when they return to posting again, everyone will have forgotten all about everything previously brought up. (Which, in cases like this, I could certainly understand.) Unfortunately for them, some people here have very good memories.

I'm sorry, guess I didn't explain that too well. Yes, after his baby teeth were extracted, then later he lost those two adult teeth!!! Our vet charged one price for all 4 teeth.

How old was the dog who lost 2 adult teeth? Did you ask your vet why that had happened? If he was a quite young dog, I would be worried about that, at least have the bone density of the jaw checked. Did that dog have a bad malocculsion?

Adult teeth in a young dog should not just fall out. Also eliminate gum disease so that this dog has a chance to keep as long as possible his remaining teeth.

Yorkies are notorious for bad bites, and resulting teeth problems. A breeding dog with this, should be taken out of a breeding program.

He was around two when the vet said the teeth should be taken out. After they took them out, the bottom center tooth was lose very quickly, and shortly thereafter fell out. Not sure when the top center one fell out. On a human, if the top tooth doesn't have a bottom tooth to meet, then it can fall out . . . wondering if that's the same on a dog.
