| mixing raw with dry/ The Honest Kitchen Hi Everyone, I've been thinking of adding raw to my puppy's diet. Right now, she is a little over 3 months and is eating jus dry dog food. I was reading reviews and read that The Honest Kitchen is a really good raw dog food. Does anyone here do half dry and half raw? Would it just be better to go raw all the way instead of doing half and half? Does anyone here use the Honest Kitchen for their dogs? If so, what are your opinions on it? |

| I would gradually do all raw- there is no need if you are feeding raw to do kibble but you have to introduce it gradually. I use Primal and Keoki does great on it. I used to feed kibble but noticed a great change when I switched over to Raw with his smell, the size of his stool, and how much he loved it- that sold me. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | We feed all of our Yorkies and Biewers with a raw meat diet. We also provide kibble as a supplement to the pregnant moms however they seem to prefer the raw meals and hardly touch the dry food. We have seen remarkable improved health using raw food in the females and their litters. Last edited by ClaudeBisson; 09-24-2010 at 04:30 PM. |

| raw food and dry food digest at different rates. and that can upset the stomach. so you can feed raw in one meal and dry at a different meal. however feeding all raw is better. the honest kitchen is dehydrated raw so not really 100% raw meat like the other raw food. i feed aunt jeni's homemade dog food. it's excellent.
