| Thanks for all the helpful info. This is a very interesting thread. I totally agree about the chronic dehydration in dogs who are fed kibble. My sister's lab recently switched from a low-grade kibble to raw food and he drinks about 3 liters less water per day .I've been feeding raw for the last year and I love it! We fed home cooked before that, but we had runny stools and a lot of issues. Now I think we fed too much. Acana and Orijen are becoming available on our market now. Apart from those, the best commercial food was RC. Is it worth while trying Acana for my Yorkies along with raw food? I want to offer them a variety of food (they get turkey, free-range chicken and beef meals along with raw chicken bones) and I thought I could include the Acana in their diet. Could I feed kibble for breakfast and raw for dinner?
