| Nervous about dental cleaning First it's been ions since I've posted on YT.....wish it wasn't so. Today Bubba is scheduled for his 1st ever dental cleaning. He has needed it don't for a long time, but fear & finances have kept me from having it done. Bubba will be 9 on Oct. 2 and he weighs just 4.5 lbs - I am fearful because he is so small. Also, from yrs of reading on YT how people have lost their yorkies during a cleaning. My vet does use human grade anesthesia, they said it is pediatric. I am questioning going in a bit to the vet. Am I over-reacting?

| No, you are not over reaching by questioning and asking questions. I know there is a drug for little dogs.....Maxine had it used on her at 13, and no problem. Can't think of the name, but it cost more. |

| No, you're not over-reacting at all. You're asking good questions, and you're just concerned about your little man. Sending prayers that everything goes well for Bubba. Hugs, Bonny

| Thank you all for your kind words & prayers. Bubba did great. I get to pick him up in about an hour. He lost a couple of teeth, but they said not major teeth & he won't even miss them. Now I'm more scared about what the bill will look like just so excited that I'm bringing a healthy boy home!
