![]() I'll try to figure out what she likes once she arrives. Perhaps I will supplement with some BB stuff or something to boost the protein if it looks like she isn't getting enough. I will have to start researching signs of protein deficiency now... the research never ends! I feel like I'm taking another college course lol.

| ![]() This is a site that I like. You can look at the ingredients of each and every food they carry. It's in the details at the end of each page. Pet Food Online | Dog & Cat Supplies & Products | PetFoodDirect.com

![]() As for food, I would try a strange protein source if you haven't yet (venison or duck). NB makes a few flavors in the LID. Did you try mixing the LID kibble with some LID wet? That might entice your baby to eat it. You could also try soaking the kibble in water to "imitate" wet. They also make some green stuff (forget the name) that you can put on food to entice them to eat (not sure of the allergens in it though as I have never tried it). My cat, Suki, basically refused to eat when we first switched her food. We mixed it with wet for awhile and then slowly reduced the wet to dry ratio until there was no wet at all. She now eats her food without complaint. Remember, even if they don't particularly love it they will NEVER starve themselves. Your pup might get used to it and eat more as time passes. I say having to eat things you don't particularly like is better than itching and it is DEFINITELY better than steroids (lots of nasty side effects with those). Not sure about all of these (as I have not tried them all), but here is a list of LID foods available: California Natural (grain free and unique protein sources) Natural Dog Food, Cat Food and Puppy Food for Pets With Food Sensitivity ? California Natural Pinnacle Pinnacle® - Grain Free Turkey & Potato Dry Dog Food Blue Buffalo Wilderness (My girls eat this now. However, neither pup has allergies. Only my cat has allergies. My kitty still eats NB LID.) BLUE Buffalo Wilderness - Natural Evolutionary Duck Diet for Dogs ? Grain Free Wellness Wellness Dog Simple® Recipes There are of course more available I'm sure. I hope someone with a pup with allergies chimes in. I highly recommend doing a search on YT for allergies. ![]() ![]()

| ![]() You could try the lamb and rice formula. Lamb is suppose to be good for allergies. I would definitely try switching her food before going with the shots. I would be cautious with the blue buffalo wilderness formulas. Their protein is way too high for yorkies in my opinion. I've heard great things about the California Natural Kangaroo formula but any of their food is pretty good. Just keep in mind not every dog does good on the same food, you have to find what is right for yours. Mine can't have chicken as they will start chewing and scratching as well. But they do great on Blue's Fish and Potato recipe. I went through so many foods and this was the one they just love and they all have great hair and skin. But again not for every dog. I'm thinking of trying the California Natural for a change up in their diet if I can find a place nearby that sells it.

| ![]() Tried BB but Max had soft stools for 2 bags. Mickey does not have these issues. Switched to Taste of the Wild and Max has the best stools he has ever had. It is weird because even on the same food (TOTW) Max and Mickey's stools are still different.
