| Does anyone have Kroger Pet Insurance? I really want to get pet insurance for Zoe. I saw an ad at the grocery store for Kroger pet insurance and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts? I like the fact that it covers spay/neuter and routine care. But its $60 a month for 2 pets. Is it worth it? Are there better companies? Pet Insurance Rates | Kroger Personal Finance |

| I would love to hear from someone who has it. I am still shopping, but I am afraid to purchase without some feedback. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I decided to go with Trupanion. And I am really happy with my choice I was nervous about what company to go through and I really wanted the SCARY things covered. For me when I was shopping Pet Insurance I wanted something that would cover the unknown. I can plan for the yearly trips to the vet, the fecal and urine testing ect, dentals ect.... what I can't plan for is Liver Shunts, Broken Legs, Accidents (car or other) Hip Dysplasia,Diabeties, Luxating Patellas. Those vet vist alone are thousands of dollars and even if I ended up saving for it there is no way I could afford it. I don't ever want to be in the situation where I might have to consider Euthensia. Scary stuff! My heart always goes out to those pet owners who have been through it! The reason why I chose trupanion... simple they cover Congential and Hereditary defects... Quote from there sight.. "No hereditary or congenital breed exclusion, we accept all breeds with all illnesses covered!" That was the BIGGEST reason I chose them! Many and Like the Kroger Pet insurance it does not cover this. I also don't want a limit... Trupanion does not cap off... If your pet ends up wracking up 10,000 in vet bill and say your cap was 7,500 for the year... hopefully something else doesn't happen within that year. Its simple with Trupanion there is NO LIFETIME Limit. They also cover all medications Bottom Line you have to find what works the BEST for you, your budget and your furbabies. And there is NO PERFECT PLAN! Or we all would have it! LOL. If you find you want routine vet care coverage, spay/nuter, dentals, Trupanion won't be the company for you.. Check around, talk to others, Talk to your vet, see what is out there because there is ALOT! But for us Trupanion was the obvious way to go! Hope this helps! Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have PetPlan. I chose PetPlan bc they will cover hereditary/congenital issues, should they arise.
