| Advantage advice Please! Last night i gave Minnie & Scamp the Advantage flea treatment....within 5 minutes Minnie went crazy running like a crazy dog....& her skin was all bright Red....During the wee hours of this morning they both threw up... I have given it to them before,& they were fine....I just picked this stuff @ the Vets office the other day... Have any of your Yorkies or other pets had a reaction?? Now i am scared to give it to them next month in case they have a worse reaction! Any advice would be grateful.....Thankyou.. |

| Mine have never had a reaction to it but I read on here recently someone said their dog was unusually tired and subdued after using it.

| None of my dogs have ever had a bad reaction to it but something "funny" happened to one of the cats the first time I put it (the cat formulated one) on her. The vet had warned us that you have to put it on a little different for cats because they can reach around so much further and lick it. If they lick it, they will get all foamy-mouthed. He said it wouldn't hurt them but to try to get it further up on their neck than what you do for dogs. Well, didn't get it far enough up and the next thing I know she's foaming and spitting. Freaked me out! She was fine after drinking some water and washing it out of her mouth but it was spooky looking!

| I didn't like the way Miko reacted to the advantage either, so my vet put him on Revolution. |
