| can't get my puppy to switch foods.. help! Hi everyone! I have an almost 12 week old morkie. The breeder was feeding her Diamond Small Breed Puppy food. I wanted to switch her to a higher quality dog food. I bought Wellness for puppies. She wouldnt even eat one piece despite me cutting it to smaller pieces. I exchanged it for Blue Buffalo and at first she ate a few pieces the first day, but then when I put it her bowl, she only ate the Diamond dog food and left all the Blue Buffalo food in the bowl. I'm just not sure what to do or what other brands I should try. Any help or advice will be appreciated. |

| if that's what she wants to eat keep her on it. you can try blue buffalo or wellness simple solution canned or any high quality canned food at first; that will make the switch easier. she's young so canned food is better and easier to digest. and then eventually u will start adding the high quality kibble to the canned. dont try too many foods; as this can cause digestive problems. i would say keep her on her current food if she likes it and doing well on it. yorkie can get peaky eater and u don't want that. good luck
