| I'm going to switch to NV raw food I've been having problems getting my dogs to eat their RC kibble lately. When my pups were sick (they got giardia from eating cat poo) my vet had me feed them boiled chicken and rice which they loved. They will not eat plain RC puppy kibble anymore unless I mix it with chicken and rice and carrots they will walk away and will vomit yellow bile starving themselves. Plus lately they have been spitting out the kibble. I want them to get the proper nutrition so I'm going to try switching them over to NV raw food to see if the like it. I've read a lot of positive things on this site about the raw diet. I went to the NV web site and filled out a forum that I'd like to try it and they sent me a buy one get one free coupon for a local pet store that carries it by me. I sure hope they like it and this works getting them to eat better. They are still pups Chloe is 4.4 lbs and 24 weeks Claire is 4.9 lbs 23 weeks and Charm is 2.4 lbs 19 weeks. I still give my little Charm 4 small meals a day and puppy nutracal every morning and evening. I don't know when the right time cut back to fewer meal with her she has only gained a few oz in the last few weeks. Any advise would be appreciated. |

| i had the same problems with my dogs i wanted to feed them both the same food and neither liked most and could not fine one they both liked until i tried raw, Honest kitchen also has a good packet that you mix with water, good to travel with or if you dont defrost in time, they will send a free sample, if you email primal they will send you a coupon for a free starter pack, it has a few nuggets of the beef, chicken, lamb and duck, good way to try it and see what your pups like best,,, mine liked the lamb and that shocked me, i switch between primal, nv, aunt jennys, ziwi peak and stella a chewy. | Thank you I will look them up. My dogs have only had chicken never any other kind of meat so a sampler of different kinds would be really helpful. I also like the freeze dried idea if I forget to defrost. |
