| Baby Morkie needs food advice! My four month old morkie just started barfing last week. We took him to the vet, got an x-ray and got anti-biotics/injections, so we know he doesn't have an obstruction and stopped any virus. The vet gave us Hill's prescription i/d canned food to stop the vomiting and anti-biotics that I have been giving him. I started mixing in his old Wellness food slowly liek the vet told me to, and the puppy started throwing up again. I stopped it and he stopped and we thought it might be food allergies, so we switched to Natural Balance Potato and Duck formula, when he started barfing again!! I just called the vet and he said he suggests us to just feed him the i/d food forever since he's doing well on bland food. However, I do not feel comfortable feeding him such a low quality food forever............ Does anyone have any food suggestions that might be better for sensitive stomachs/bland food? I also prefer to feed him dry food..my baby deserves the best!! |
