| ![]() have someone hold her while you clean the area. Trimming the area will work the best.

Every since I got her I would wipe her behind with unscented gentle baby-wipes. I've always just sat on the floor and held her like a football under my arm, backwards and cleaned off any "cling-ons" (I laughed out loud the first time I saw someone use that term). I'd give her a little treat afterwards (green bean or a piece of apple). She has nice firm poo's so she doesn't get messy too often, but I am religious about it. She just expects it now.

| ![]() Poppy gets a REALLY messy bum as she has been having soft poo's of late. I have cut away the hair around her little bum and i always have a wipe handy to clean her after she goes. She didnt like it at first but i think she dosent mind it now. xxx

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() I agree with the others, keeping the hair clipped around the area works great, but if she's having soft poop, I would look at her diet. Poop should be firm, and there's no muss with firm poop.

| ![]() Every week or 2, I clip my babies butts with an electric clipper. It takes 2 seconds and they are good to go---no pun intended lol.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() We get really firm poops with RC, are you feeding anything else? I know some human foods can cause soft poop, and just a small change in diet can do it.

| ![]() My sister was feeding hers NB Chicken based kibble. They had horrible poop problems. When she changed to the Lamb and Rice their poops became very firm. So I guess my point is possibly one of the ingredients in the food is not agreeing with her. But the poop should be firm.
