| Use of Frontline on a pregnant Yorkie Please help!!!! I let my Yorkie have one litter of pups about two years ago. She just spent the last week with her boyfriend and has come home with fleas. In case she's pregnant, does anyone know if it's okay for me to put Frontline on her? Thanks so much!!!

| I wouldnt without a vet okay. My vet told me advantage was safe to use on my pregnant cat but Ive read on here where breeders wont use any of those meds because of possible birth defects. Have you tried washing her with dawn dish soap. You leave the dawn on for about 5 minutes then rinse. I have did that before and it killed the fleas

| I would bathe her in Dawn dishwashing detergent, careful with her eyes. Kill fleas on contact. |

| im not sure i would do it for a pregnant dog but i know from a nursing mom i fostered that it is okay for nursing moms as long as you do not let puppies lick it while it is wet
