| Getting Really Irritated Ok, so Harley seems to have a pica issue. He eats everything. This is old news. But it's driving me nuts. Today I decided to tie back his hair for the first time and used these really teeny tiny black rubber bands I got from the pharmacy and I watched him for a while and he kept dragging his head on the ground and kicking @ his face trying to get it off. But everytime he did so I told him no and asked him to sit beside me. Well, I left the room for about 3 minutes to make a phone call and BAM the hair tie is gone and he couldn't have looked smugger. I searched and searched and searched and I guess the little turd ate it! What really sucks is that it's black so it won't be easy to see when he passes it.. Should I worry? It's really little.. But I didn't know how much of a threat rubber bands could be?

| I wouldn't worry too much about it. Mine eat a lot of their hair ties also- I have to watch them like a hawk and then- like you said- the minute I leave the room they pull them out and by the time I get back I am lucky to even find any leftover evidence! My two young ones are GOATS! They will eat anything! A hair tie or two is the least of my worries! |
