| What is a good dry food to feed? I have been using Taste of The Wild but I found out that they use a presevrative that is basically jet fuel so I need to switch but not sure to what. I also would like to consider doing raw for all my dogs not just a few but not sure how to make ot myself. I think it would be cheaper since I have a whippet as well. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

| TOTW is switching to an all-natural preservative, by the way. If you don't want to switch foods. Ethoxyquin will not be used. Quote:
Other good foods, in my opinion, are Orijen/Acana (made by Champion Pet Foods), Go! Endurance, Nature's Variety. To me, these are the closest kibbles to raw. I don't have the means to feed raw right now, and I don't really know a ton about it, so I'm sure someone else can help you with that.

| I have used Hills Science Diet since mine were little. Bil-Jac is supposed to be a good choice too. |

| I currently feed a rotation diet of different kibble & pre-packaged raw. For raw we rotate between Nature's Variety, Stella & Chewy's, and Primal. For kibble we rotate between Instinct and Orijen. They eat raw primarily but the kibble is left down all day in case they want to nibble on it.

| Iams I have always fed Bella Iams for the toy breed thinking that was good...? Any thoughts, I'll gladly switch to something better for her! She really likes it but haven't ever tried another brand. Thanks |

| Gosh, there are so many good quality kibbles out there; I'd just try sampling until you find one that they like. I do think your concern with TOTW is going to be remedied as the other poster said. I feed Blue Buffalo Wilderness to my Westie; NB Vegetarian and Wellness Limited Ingredient to Lucy.

| Thanks Thank you all for your recommendations. I am very lucky my local feed store carries everything you recommended. If they are truelly fixing TOTW ingrediant I think I will stay with it for now. Thanks again. |

| My two get wellness super 5 mix for small breeds. I tried the wellness core but they wouldn't eat it. I had my two on TOTW bison and Levi developed an allergy to it. He got really itchy flaky stinky skin...took him off per the vets request and now he is perfectly fine.
