YorkieTalk Newbie! | Leg cramps... Hi, My little yorkie Archie gets muscle cramps/spasams in his back legs which is very distressing for him and me, I hate to see him in pain and was wondering if anyone elses yorkie suffers from the same thing? Archie is 3 and has had the ball joint from his hip removed when he was a puppy. The first time it happened I thought he was having a fit and took him straight to the vets, who told me he hadn't but couldnt explain what had happened He did give me diazipam to realx his muscles. It has happened more fequently lately and again today after we got home from a long walk. Does anybody know anything about why he could be getting these cramps, how I can prevent them, is there any medication/suppliments I can give hime that would help? Thanks Jaime-t |
