| Squeaky tummy & jello like diarrhea I have a 4 year old 4 lb female yorkie. Several times a month she won't eat in the morning, her stomach squeaks where you can hear it across the room, sometimes she will throw up a white or yellow bile, but mostly has diarrhea that looks like hazardous waste. She has been to the vet constantly. Sometimes they keep her to rehydrate her. We have tried everything, taken all treats away. We only feed her homemade food, turkey, rice, green vegetables, etc. It has gotten better, but it still keeps happening. She also gets a rash all over her body. She takes antibiotics, it goes away, but as soon as she is off, it comes back. Anybody have any clue or similar problems??? |

| I have a 9 year old wheaten that has similar problems for years, the homemade food, especially green beans helped, I started her on probiotics and we are having a good run right now(no throwing up but still nasty poop)- so... I am investigating "nzymes" (google it)- because green beans do have lots of enzymes needed for digestion(?). I think Lucy was overbred, overimmunized and allergic to everything! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh, poor baby...loud tummy squeaks are often accompanied by lots of discomfort. I feel for you bc my Marcel had SUPER loud gurgling tummy noises when he was post-giardia, and he was miserable. So, what tests has the vet run? Has IBD/IBS been discussed? The homemade diet you're feeding, has it been balanced by a professional? Bc that may be a big part of the issue right there. What other diets have you tried? When did this start in relation to any diet change? What medication is the "antibiotic"?
