| My yorkie is 4.5 lbs and has been getting one greenie every night for years. The packaging does say not to give greenies to dogs under 6lbs?? but she loves them. I also do not brush her teeth, her teeth only get brushed once a month when she goes to the groomers - but due to the greenies - she has great teeth. Most yorkies by this age need to be put to sleep to have their teeth cleaned, which always scares me because they are so tiny - but the greenies - till now - have put that off. |

| I stopped giving my dog Greenies. My vet had a personal experience where she had to save her own Shih Tzu's life from choking on a piece that had broken off and got lodged in her throat.
