| Feeding Guides Heads Up Ok so I'm starting my babies on Primal Raw and when you go on the website they have the feeding guide calculator you know? Well here is my question.... why do they not give you an option to choose the formula you are using. If you look at the Kcal per nugget they are all different and not just slightly. Beef - 77 Lamb - 75 Duck - 54 Venison - 48 Pheasant - 45 Rabbit - 36 Quail - 33 Turkey & Salmon - 33 between beef and turkey that's a 34 kcal difference. The guide tells me that Chloe needs to eat 1.4 nuggets a day. That would be fine if I were feeding beef (about 108 kcal her recommended kcal per day is 120) but if she were eating Quail thats only 46 kcal a day! I managed to figure out the correct feeding for my babies but I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this? |

| Feeding guides for any food is just that, a guide. A general idea for you to go based off of. I think it all depends on the activity level, age, and how much your individual baby eats. You know your baby best so you can adjust the guides to fit your baby's needs.
