| Can you feel the microchip? I could feel Millies and can feel Maisies. Not sure about Tobys. He was chipped last week. He jumped as the vet had the needle in and the needle came out. (Vet hadnt released chip). So vet had to put the needle in again. Now I can feel two small raised lumps, which I think are just scabs from the needle wound, and are smaller than the chip. I cant feel the chip. Either the chip is far down and i cant feel it, or one of these scabs is the chip and its not far enough in. The chip is definitely in because it scanned ok. What you think - can you always feel the chip?

| It will be a year this August that Kaji was chipped. I still find it at times. I'm sorry your baby had to have two ouchies.

| I can feel it on most of my dogs, but the fatter ones it is hard or impossible to locate by touch. LOL I have one boy where it moved up and is almost right behind his ear on his neck. I always get the question....do you know he has a bump here about it...but the vet said it's fine and if he was to get lost another vet would find it very easy and it scans.

| I can feel Zhoie's too. She had a severe should injure when she was young and it has moved. It use to be in between her should blades, like should be, but after her swelling went down it moved to the right side. Now, it's below her right shoulder blade. I'm thinking of having it taken out. Has anyone had one removed?
