| I have a question??? My 3 furbabies yearly shots where due a month and a half ago. They did get there rabie shots last month, but not the other ones because I didn't want them to get all at one time. Since I am late on the DHPP are they still protected? I plan on taking them Mon. for the shots.

| Hello. My dogs receive the DHPP shot every 3 years in accordance with the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) guidelines followed by my vet. You could ask your vet about why he/she is still doing annual vaccines when the shot can last for 3 years (and even longer according to the AAHA).

| They are a little over 1 yrs. old. They had there puppy shots and thats it. After they get this round of shots I don't plan on any more until 3 yrs. Except for rabie shot I was just wondering if they are still protected from their puppy shots? Sorry, I should of told their age.

| Should be. Could titer to check, but since that doesn't give the whole picture, it could be a waste of money. If your vet is concerned, they will do two sets 3-4 weeks apart. I think it's fine...
