| Burping and acid reflux My dog Rico burps several times a day. Sometimes his burps are more like acid reflux, where I can hear that a small amount of liquid has come back up into his mouth. The vet said to give him some pepcid, but it still happens. Any other ideas what to do? Should I see a different vet? |

| You don't necessarily need to switch vets as long as when you go back, they are willing to try something else. Reglan may help. At this point, they may want to get into testing. An esophageal xray may be needed and they may do a barium swallow.
