| Okay guys, I've got a problem to solve here on YT, lol. As some of you know we rescued Tripp about a month ago, and were told he's about one year old, but he really acts youger, teething a lot and all. His hair is very odd looking, kinda poodle-like. But he has a streak of black Yorkie hair down his back. I was wondering if his puppy coat is the curly stuff? Hmmm, what do you guys think?

| My stepsister's yorkie has a little wave to her hair and it is absolutely gorgeous. I would pay to have a wavy yorkie. Either way Im sure Tripp's coat will turn out beautifully! |

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Maybe that's what they call a "cottony coat." Not sure about the coloring. They can change colors for the first two years, I've been told, so maybe he's just going through a change now. Very handsome little guy, though. Thanks for the pictures.

| Chachi has the curley coat and that is the dreaded cotton coat. It looks cute but is miserable to brush. The colors just look like his coat is changing to blue.
