| On the dog food analysis site, it has a rating of 3 stars. But I couldn't afford the Wellness brand, so hope this works. |

| You obviously adore your furkid....you listened to advice that was given and you bought a better food. Isn't it amazing how wrapped around their tiny paws we are?! |

| Yes, mine definitely has me wrapped around her little paw. She's a spoiled little brat. What she wants, she gets! |

| I think you will be happy with Solid Gold, it is a very decent brand and leaps and bounds above IAMS. Instead of looking at the stars, I prefer this site: Dog Food Ratings by Brand Many dog foods are rated low on the site that rates by stars because they have less protein but for these small dogs that is not a "bad" thing and is actually necessary for some. The site I linked will tell you if there are any controversial ingredients in the food you are feeding and what the controversy is. Dont be too concerned if you see a red ingredient (there is one in the food I feed too!) just read why it is controversial.

But yeah Iams, Eukanuba, Purina, etc all bad foods that are highly publicized. I've heard some good things about Wellness though. | |

| After reading all the posts, no more Iams for me! The Solid Gold Wee Bits is a little pricey. I paid $36.79 for a 15 lb bag at Petco, but think it will be worth it. Possibly I won't have to feed as much, and the dogs seem to really like it. If my hubby found out what I paid for it, he would probably think I'm crazy. But these are my babies and they deserve the best. Also the health benefits will outweigh the cost. Thanks again everyone. |

I have definitely found that I feed much less of the better quality foods, and they poo much less too!

| We have Tractor Supplies and a Lumber 8 near us that carries dog food and lots of farm supplies. I never thought about checking there. I'll have to stop by and check out their dog foods. Hopefully I can find it cheaper. Thanks! |
