| What Can I Feed My Trouble?? Trouble has Seborrah and we had him tested for allergies thinking that maybe a allergie has brought this on. His results came back that he is allergic to almost everything, but the food ingredients he should avoid are: Alfalfa Brewers Yeast Corn Eggs Rice Poultry Mix They also gave me a list of foods which do not contain these, but most of the brand names I have never heard of. The food I feed him now is not listed of course... I need help with picking a food that is good for him and will not flair his allergies. Off this list here are a few names I kinda know: Hills Pet Products, Natra Pet Products, Natural balance Pet Foods, Nature's Recipe, Old Mother Hubbard, Solid Gold, Timberwolf Organics. Give me your opinions on these foods or any other suggestions. Thanks So Much! Sally Ann

| This might be a silly question, but if he is allergic to eggs is he allergic to chicken? |

| I was thinking that was what Poultry Mix meant, but now that you mention it I dont know? They gave me so much info. It is kind of overwhelming right now. On the list of approved foods everything is either Potato and Duck, Beef and Salmon, Sweet Potato and Fish, etc.. No mention of Chicken anywhere.

| I know California Natural has a limited ingredient line (or maybe it just is a limited ingredient line) so you might be able to use that and it's a good food! |

| Do you have a pet store that sells that and would take it back? We have one store here that would take back a bag that was used for the simple reason that your dog doesn't like it and one store that won't. The one that does take them back also has small trial bags to try. Good luck!!! |

No I will have to buy off line. The only pet store we have doesn't sell any of the good stuff, and they would die if you brought anything back...

| I just put Molly on Natural Balance Venison & Sweet potato bought @ Petco. She is having some hair issues and the wonderful members on YT suggested that I find something with no grains, wheat, chicken, beef, etc....and after researching this is the food that I chose. She seems to love it! I also bought a roll of the Duck & Sweet potato to put her antibiotic pill in since she won't take the pill for me & she loves that one also. A member also posted something earlier about a lotion from DerMagic.com that you may want to check out. I ordered a bottle of the lotion to try on Molly. These little fur babies sure do give us drama but we love them anyway

| My oldest is terribly allergic to chicken but he can eat eggs just fine. It has something to do with the different protein structure I'm told.

Out of the list of foods you posted, I would recommend this California Naturals one or the Natural Balance Venison & Sweet Potato. I lean more towards the NB because I've read where so many members are very happy with that food. Good luck!

| Natural Balance will have a couple to choose from for you. There are probably some lamb based kibbles available that don't contain rice or corn too. However, food allergy testing is considered unreliable by many vets and the only way to know the problem ingredients is to do an elmination diet.
