Your post reveals very little and based on the urgency this pregnacy was an accident. But, since you say you know she's pregnant, you have very little time. Preparation for such an event takes much studying. For the health and welfare of your girl, I strongly suggest you have her spayed. I know this sounds a bit harsh, but someone that is unprepared to assist their girl in a whelp is putting the girl and pups lives in jeaporady.

| It is hard for anyone to advise you without more information. We need to know the age and size of your Sassy and how far along is she. You have come to the right place to learn about whelping puppies if you can be patient with us and give us more detail. It is very important that you learn all you can before the pups are born otherwise you could be putting Sassy and her babies lives at risk. For now Sassy needs to be on a diet consisting of a high quality dog food or puppy food. If Sassy is very young or very small then getting her spayed might be the best option. |
