| ![]() I would appreciate others sharing their experiences with flea preventive medicines. I currently use Vectra but my baby's hair soaks it up and her entire back is wet. What has worked well for others here that doesn't spread throughout the pet's hair?

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | ![]() I have always used Frontline products and they work really well on Morgan. I have used revolution in the past on my cat. They are a liquid topical as well. Are you applying the Vectra the right way? you need to part the hair and apply it to the skin. You can make a part line down their neck/shoulder blades and apply it in a line instead of one spot.

I feel I'm applying the right way. I'm thinking that there is just so much of it in the tube. May try splitting it up into 2 doses. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try something else. It almost does sound like I'm not applying it right and that changing to something else will just have the same results. I've applied other meds to cats and dogs and have never had this problem before.
