Are you applying the Vectra the right way? you need to part the hair and apply it to the skin. You can make a part line down their neck/shoulder blades and apply it in a line instead of one spot.

I feel I'm applying the right way. I'm thinking that there is just so much of it in the tube. May try splitting it up into 2 doses. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try something else. It almost does sound like I'm not applying it right and that changing to something else will just have the same results. I've applied other meds to cats and dogs and have never had this problem before.
