| TOTW=ethoxyquin FREE A recent thread had me a little confused on TOTW and the preservative used for their ocean fish meal, an ingredient found in ALL thier kibble flavors. I was under the understanding ethoxyquin was used. I was recently informed from Melissa Brookshire, DVM from Taste of the Wild, they have acquired a supplier that has permission to use a natural preservative prior to entering port. All of their ocean fish meal is now preserved with natural ingredients, NOT ethoxyquin, which was previously used. I thought this was wonderful news TOTW users would like to know! |

| Wow, that's awesome! I don't feed TOTW, but it's a good thing to hear, because I think otherwise it is a really good food at a decent price.

| That is great news. I was using TOTW until the ethoxyquin issue. My two did great on it too. I just recently switched them from Blue to Life Abundance and they are really liking it. If I ever have to switch again I def will go back to TOTW.

| ethoxyquin in pet foods I found this site TruthaboutPetFood.com that talks about harmful ingredients in our pets foods and many other articles. I do know how many YTers may have heard of her. Read Thixton history as to why she is so involved with what is put in pet foods. You may agree/disagree with her but it is a lot of interesting reading in particular the second article Did Pet Owners Influence Several Brands of Pet Food to Change? Looks like it .
