nah he just said their cheeses are not homogenized like ours and why they taste better - hmmm maybe ask off topic for some of the london peeps on here to answer as curious now as wondering if they would get sick from this

yeah the colostrum i looked into as heard it helps for immune boosting properties for dogs with poor immune systems like my dd but derm said it is only good for first few weeks of their life after that it really is not helpful due to the way the body absorbs it - I need to still read all the info ladysmom posted as she uses it and she does alot of research on this stuff as her girl has health issues too I am always hoping for a miracle cure for dee dee's allergies lolllll

well spoke to the vet today he said that it is actually ok for me to give her milk upon reading all of your help full post i think i will give her goat milk since she loves it so much but how do i find this stuff

Milk is one of those interesting foods that we always hear about on the tv, due to the Dairy Council's enormous political pull in the US society. The one thing that is not spoken of is the fact surrounding digestibility and cooked proteins. Raw proteins are easily digestible, their long stranded-molecular bases provide easy access for digestion, by the enzymes released in the Pancreactic fluid. Very few proteins are water soluble, so in order to absorb them, the body must break them down into their water-soluble components; or amino acids.

However, once we cook proteins, these chains become very tight and entangled forming a compact knot; this makes it extremely difficult for these enzymes from the Pancreatic juices to weave themselves into the chains and digest them.

Needless to say, these undigested proteins slowly move within our GI tract and continue to putrify, giving us some of the unwanted side effects, such as cramping, flatulence, and diarrhea. Also causing us to assimilate much less of the very proteins and vitamins that we are drinking the milk for.
