we work with a vet nutritionist as well - dr. Remillard and she has saved Daisy's life. On her diet Daisy's blood work is better than it's ever been and her liver functioning is within normal limits -- she's got MVD.

She is the name I was given today actually... Im glad to hear another recommendation for her, especially from someone with an MVD dog.

I am going to call her next week hopefully and get this ball rolling.

I was contacted by Proctor and Gamble to use my dogs in research after a home study was done.
I declined the offer.
They were extremely nice and well spoken. Seemed to care about the animals. I asked about animal research, and they assured me, their animals did not undergo nasty research. Like I said I declined the offer, but the people I spoke with appeared caring and very well educated. ANswered all questions asked.
THis may have been a huge offer to many people but I thought Id share. ALthough I didnt feel comfortable selling my dogs to a huge company, not sure why these foods are considered bad.

This is very disappointing news. I used to feed Innova and most of my dogs did quite well on it but we quit feeding it a while back when we switched to Fromm's. My girls are looking, acting and feeling better than they have in a long time. My switch from Fromm's will be to home cooking as soon as I find a nutritionist anywhere near me.

At least one of P&G dog food companies, Iams, is KNOWN to have committed acts of animal testing and animal cruelty. That's not judging, that's fact. And it's our right to choose not to do business with a company like that! If Innova chooses to align themselves with P&G, the makers of Iams, then I choose to no longer purchase or recommend their products. And we certainly have the right to express our opinion and our disapproval and our disappointment to this company without obtaining anyone's permission before we exercise that right.

Interesting~they wanted to purchase you dogs for a research facility? When did this happen?

And we are absolutely allowed to state our opinions about this food and this company, stop trying to scare everyone in all your threads with legal action... I guarantee there are many on this thread that know more about the law then you do.

I agree about the ACANA...my guys have been on it for a little over a year and are doing great on it!
