| Bella is having trouble pooping. Help! I have a five and half month old little girl named Bella. The other day I noticed when I took her out she kept trying to poop and then stop, try again. So I looked at her bottom and the poop was hard and she could not push it out. I soaked her butt and all seemed well. She went later that night and it was fine. I took her out this morning to go and she was whining, but I see nothing. What can I do for her because I hate to see her in any pain. She just whines when she tries to go poop. Vicki |

| Canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) should help short term, but because there is a reasont that this is happening, her diet may need to be changed. If it continues, vet time...

| ETA: If she is straining and can't get it out and/or she is whining from it, then the vet probably shouldn't wait at all.
