| I find that mine are extremely affectionate with me when they are in heat although they will snap at each other during that same time.

| I have no experience with dogs in heat, however, judging by yorkie personality being just like kids, all little girls want their mommies during their 'time' and can turn on you in a minute. Darn those hormones!!!

| I don't remember Apple being affectionate, but she's not a real affectionate yorkie, anyway...I remember her not eating, wanting to pee on every tree, bush or shrub (and she slightly hiked her leg), just running around the house, not doing anything, but not stopping for anything...She almost drove me nuts!!! I was going to let her have a 2nd heat, before she was spayed, and I 86'd that, for her sanity and mine... I did manage to wait 'till she was 12 months old... |
