There are others breeds that require masking only (or do better with it) I think it was the brachycephalic group for one and maybe greyhounds, I think they are sensitive also when it comes to having problems w/anesthesia. I think over all there are definitely problems with anesthesia no matter which method is used, and the pros and cons have to be evaluated for each individual and situation. |
