| Vet split my Pebbles nail!!! I took my Pebbles to the vet today for a check up and she had her nails cut. Well she was back there for a while and when she came out they told me that they cut a little to short and she started to bleed. They said she stopped bleeding and should be ok. Well now she is limping and she won't put pressure on her foot. I looked at it more closely and her whole nail is split. I am fuming now!!! My poor little baby. I will call them in the morning because they are closed now. It is not bleeding any more but it hurts her!!

| Awww poor baby! I think they will have to cut it above the crack or it will continue to hurt her. My baby cracked her own and had to take her in..they gave pain meds and clipped it....she yelped but was SOO happy after that and was all kisses I hope your baby feels better soon.

| Ouch! I can imagine that it does hurt her. It's too bad you can't put something on it and cover it, but it wouldn't stay on...

| I know it is just pityful to watch her. She won't even put her foot down. She still can jump on the couch though Go figure. I will see how she is in the morning. Regardless they are getting a call. I could have done that!! Poor P-girlie!!

| I wonder if it could be fixed with nail glue? I would ask the vet before I attempted it, though.

| aww..poor baby! I would definitely go in and make them fix it for free - they screwed up (understandable, they're only human), but now they need to take responsibility and make the little one feel better, on their dime!

| Oh that's bad - how about taking nail glue with you to the vet's and ask them to fix it?
